In 2012 at the age of 29 I was diagnosed with a 5.4cm Acoustic Neuroma, a brain tumor that originates in the myelin sheath of the 8th cranial nerve. I had partial resegmentation microsurgery using the translabyrinthine approach a month later at Stanford Hospital and Clinics in Palo Alto, CA. This blog is a journal of my past and present experiences, as well as a touch on what the future holds for me and other Acoustic Neuroma survivors.

Keep the faith, tomorrow is a brighter day.
